Fall Fatigue – When Your Energy Falls with the Leaves
Less daylight, temperatures that swing back and forth, the move from outdoors to indoors: in fall the body has to readjust – and that leaves you tired. What is behind it, and how massage and Dorn therapy can support you through this transition.
The days are getting shorter, the light is growing softer, and somehow everything feels a little slower. You get up in the morning with the feeling that you could really use another hour of sleep.
A lot of people know this: as summer turns to fall, the body has to readjust. Less daylight, temperatures that swing back and forth, the move from being outside to being indoors – all of it puts a strain on your circulation and leaves you tired, often a little unmotivated.
Most of us reach for more coffee first, or simply tell ourselves “I just have to get through it.” In the long run that does not accomplish much – during this transition the body needs support rather than stimulants.
That is exactly where I come in: a classic massage gets the circulation going and does the nervous system good, especially when everything outside is getting quieter. And where the body feels off from the summer-to-winter shift, Dorn therapy can help bring the spine back into good balance.
Many people report feeling more awake and more balanced after a treatment – a good start on getting through the darker season more easily.
